Ah! It’s so good to be back in action for this Yorktown Beach Engagement session with Kim and Glenn. We met on a cool spring evening for their engagement session at the beach. They were full of laughter and were obviously excited to be getting married this fall.
Their story is so great. After years of wanting to live the single lifestyle, Kim joined match.com. In her words… it went terribly. A few years later, she joined again and in three weeks met Glenn who had been on for only three days! They’ve been inseparable ever since! On a weekend trip to visit Asheville, Glenn popped the question. They had been on a hike and were right in front of a waterfall when he did it. How romantic, right?
I love this Yorktown Beach engagement photos for so many reasons. It’s especially sweet for me because Kim and Glenn will be married right where Caleb and I did almost 8 years ago. The Historic Freight Shed at Yorktown Beach is where we celebrated our marriage all those years ago, and where these two will also make that memory for their lives.
Kim and Glenn, I CANNOT wait to celebrate with you in November on your big day! I’m counting down the days (I’m sure you are too Kim). – Ashley
