Brenna & Alex’s classic Richmond wedding at the VMFA
What a beautiful day Brenna & Alex had. The most perfectly classic Richmond wedding with a reception at the VMFA. Perfect weather, perfect hair, makeup, and dress choices. It was over the most beautiful wedding day!
Brenna & Alex met through mutual friends. Brenna worked with Alex’s college friend’s now wife, so when Alex came to visit his friend, Brenna was there. Alex was living in DC at the time so he came down a few more times to see his “friend” and then got a job offer in Richmond, so he moved here and the rest is history! The proposal was planned to happen at a family cottage on Lake Superior but things changed due to COVID. A few couples went out to Charlottesville for a winery day and on the hill at the Eastwood Farm Alex proposed. Brenna was thrilled, and happily agreed to forever!
The day of their wedding was set to have great weather with a clear sky. Talk about the perfect date! We started with Brenna & her girls getting ready at her house just outside of the city. A quick ride over to the church where they had a (happy) tear filled ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends and family. A short walk over to the VMFA for their reception in the Marble Hall, which honestly suited these two SO well. They are such a classy couple, it was honestly the most iconic spot for them to celebrate!
