I am so thankful we were able to get this Virginia Beach Oceanfront Engagement session scheduled! We had the worst weather and ended up starting the session 3 hours earlier than anticipated to avoid the rain. We didn’t get rained on thankfully, but it was windy and in the 40s!
Now these two have such a funny proposal story, and by fun, I mean sort of ironic. Brandon explained to me that he had a “plan” but for some reason, the world was against that plan unfolding as he intended. He originally wanted to take her to the first place they had a meal together, and propose there. Unfortunately, they weren’t open on the specific day he wanted the proposal to happen on. Which by the way was the one year anniversary of their first official date! The second restaurant fell through as well so he ended up trying his hand at a new recipe and recreating their first meal together at his apartment. While he worked in the kitchen, Emma finished up some school work and he was insistent that she watches one of her favorite movies – Elf. They ate dinner while watching the movie, and then started talking about forever, and ending with the proposal of a lifetime!
I’m so excited for these two sweet souls to get married next fall at the Culpepper Barn in Pungo!
