Sometimes an opportunity falls into your lap and you would be dumb AF to say no. That’s what happened when I met Alex & Zach! You can read all about how I coaxed them into taking me to Seattle to photograph their wedding ceremony in this blog post. What happened was I met this awesome couple, who are so clearly in love and fit each other perfectly. They are both nature enthusiasts, they’re fun-loving and warm-hearted. Honestly, they are two of the coolest people I’ve ever met! Over the multiple emails, and coffee shop meet-ups I knew they were my kind of people, so I was over the moon excited when they invited me to join them in Seattle to capture their nuptials.

They started the day apart, getting ready in separate locations. I met with Alex and captured her final preparations before we all hoped in our cars and drove from the city to Snoqualmie Falls, WA. You’ll see the moment Zach laid eyes on his beautiful bride heading towards him through the evergreens. It was beautiful, and I’ve gotta be honest when I say I got misty-eyed. Their ceremony was short and sweet, filled with tears, giggles, and sweet words. I am so thankful to have been witness to the whole event.

After the ceremony, we spent a little over an hour hiking the trails by the water to grab some epic shots for them to remember their wedding day. It was like we transported to Narnia, which yes I realize isn’t a real place… but if it was real, it would be nustled into the woods in Washington State.

And then back home about 6 weeks later, they dressed back up and invited their closest friends and family to celebrate with them! To say this celebration was epic would be an understatement. There were 20 people in the bridal party not including Alex + Zach, biodegradable confetti, smoke bombs, and even a pre-historic visitor! You’ll just have to scroll to see what I mean!
