Literally, THE BEST COMPLIMENT I could ever receive is when any of my clients come back for another session with me. I was so stoked when Emily popped into my inbox and we booked her pleasure house anniversary session. You might remember their faces from their Norfolk Botanical Gardens Engagement Session last year, and their beautiful waterside backyard wedding.

The week we shot this session was crazy. I was rushing all over town getting ready for Good Friday with a rehearsal on Monday, prepping for my husband’s birthday (Wednesday), and shooting Emily + Taylor on Thursday. The Good Friday services were intense & emotional, Saturday was a wedding day, then Easter was Sunday! It was INSANE. And somehow, I survived. Sometimes I can stretch myself too thin, but I love what I do… so it’s hard to tell myself no, and slow down at times. I was thankful for this pleasure house anniversary session because it was something easy, and fun! I loved making time to catch up with these two and see how their first year has gone. Which I’d like to report, went well!

This year, Emily will graduate from the Nursing school at ODU. She walks across the stage in just a few weeks. How exciting, right!
