Ashton & Joe’s long-awaited wedding in Orange, Va

To say this Inn at Willow Grove Wedding was a long time coming is the biggest understatement of the entire year. Ashton popped into my inbox back in November of 2019 with an original wedding date in June of 2020. Obviously, the world had different plans for her and JoePa as they finally tied the knot in July of 2021! We immediately bonded over our similar taste in music (thanks Instagram) so we knew we’d be a great fit for the wedding day.

The old wives tale is that its good luck for your marriage if it rains on your wedding day. If that’s true then Ashton & Joe are bound to have the most amazing marriage to ever exist because the downpour on that wedding day was fierce! Everyone was worried, except for Ashton. Even Joe was nervous that his bride was losing her cool, however, she was calm as a cucumber all day long. Ashton was just ready to FINALLY marry her man.

Inn at Willow Grove Wedding: When the time came, Ashton and Joe tied the knot in a hidden garden on the grounds of the Inn. It was private, quiet, and overall a stunning space for a wedding ceremony. I could go back to photograph every wedding ever there, it was right up my alley. Shortly after they wrapped up, it was right into a celebratory toast from Ashton’s dad with just the bridal party over espresso martinis, then onto the most long-awaited party, I think anyone has ever in the history of parties been more ready for. To say this group of wedding-goers knows how to throw down may be the second biggest understatement of the year. You’ll see.
