Maryann & Burton’s story is one for a Hallmark movie. I’m serious! Their Fall Linden Row Inn wedding is almost 30 years in the making! Let’s set the scene, it’s 1995 and you’re breaking up with your high school sweetheart who you dated for 4 years due to long distance college woes. Let’s hear the reunion story from Maryann’s POV.

“Then, 26 years later (October 2020) out of the blue. I got a text from him. He got my phone number from his mother. He asked if we could meet dinner when he was home in Lynchburg for Thanksgiving break. I was hesitant at first (what if I’m not interested? what if he’s not interested? people change a lot in 26 years) but my family convinced me to agree to meet. So we reunited in November 2020, he moved from Nashville to RVA in March 2021, and he proposed October 2021. He said he’s never stopped loving me even during all this time apart. Full circle. I still can’t believe we almost lost each other and missed out on this second chance.”

This Linden Row Inn Wedding has to be the most anticipated wedding of the year and I’m so happy to share a peek into their wedding day.
