Downtown Richmond engagement sessions are the so great. I love going back to the city any chance I get. This session was extra special because I’ve heard so much about Lindsey from our amazing mutual friend Rachel (who has made an appearance on my blog at least 5 times). Rachel actually gave Lindsey & Matthew this session with me as an engagement gift! How sweet is that!
I met Lindsey and Matthew for their downtown Richmond engagement session right after the stay home order lifted during the first phase. The city streets were so incredibly bare for 6pm on a Sunday. It was a ghost town, which actually worked in our favor! We started at the church where the two of them will be married in December, the Centenary United Methodist Church. I think that was such a sweet place to start their session! Their story is really going to begin there, so why not include it in the engagements as well. Then we headed over to Jefferson Park, where Matthew popped the question just last month and ended up at a pretty random but beautiful spot that I’ll keep in my back pocket for future sessions!
It was such a pleasure meeting Lindsey and Matthew for their downtown Richmond engagement session this weekend! I wish you two the best in your marriage! Congratulations!
