What on earth. I was not expecting this Norfolk Hilton, the Main Wedding to blow my mind, but it totally did. I met Taylor and Zack a few months ago for their Downtown Norfolk engagement session, and we had the greatest time! I knew their day would be special, but I under-imagined how amazing it would be!

I started the day out photographing the bridal details. Their invitation… is honestly one of my favorites to date. Dusty blues are so darn pretty, I swooned hard… over paper… I know, I’m weird. Then we went right into the first look! Taylor was so excited to finally start sharing the day with Zack. She giggled as she spun for him to see the whole get up. Zack was speechless and smitten all at once.

Their ceremony was held at Christ and St. Luke’s Church, which is Taylor’s family church that she’s been attending since she was a child. It is an absolutely beautiful church, with the most stunning architecture perfect for thi Downtown Norfolk Wedding. A hidden gem in Norfolk, for sure. She smiled the entire way down the aisle.

We headed downtown to Norfolk Hilton, The Main for the reception and let me tell you, that place is fire. I think it’s the coolest hotel in Downtown Norfolk, no doubt! It fit their Downtown Norfolk Wedding day perfectly!

Before we go any farther, I do need to say that I’m obsessed with the fact that we shot portraits on the balcony of Grain… and their first date was AT GRAIN! I mean, how full circle is that? I absolutely LOVE that!
