Delta Bayfront Wedding

The fourth Delta Bayfront Wedding went off without a hitch over the weekend. Lauren and Joshua tied the knot on the beach, just as they had hoped for with their original wedding date. Of course, as we all know there is a global panorama happening and their wedding was postponed several months because of it. I’m personally thankful for it. I didn’t shoot many weddings of my own in 2020, but all of the ones I was able to second shoot at were so different due to COVID. Masks, sanitizer, a lack of dancing. I think Lauren and Josh made the right decision with postponing!

The day started early for the girls, with hair and makeup starting around 9 am. They had the BEST playlist going with songs from my high school days. Some of which I probably hadn’t heard since I was a teenager. It made me feel right at home with these girls, like, I knew we were going to have a great time during bridal party photos (which we totally did). Once everyone was ready, we headed out for the ceremony on the beach. It was incredibly sweet, with their friend Tom marrying them. From there we had bridal party portraits, which was THE BEST time. Followed by an epic reception where literally every danced the entire time. It was quite the party!
