I have had quite a few Colonial Williamsburg Engagement Sessions lately! I’m not complaining, I love it over there! When I arrived for Marian & Juliano’s session, there was a full on block party happening down in Merchant’s Square. Every parking lot was slam packed, so we had to make a last minute change to our exact location. Marian was full of grace with the change, thank goodness!
We met at Bassett Hall to start the Colonial Williamsburg engagement session, and the light was so glowy and beautiful! If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you probably know that I’m always chasing the glow of sunset in my sessions! I’m always a little disappointed with overcast days because I can’t achieve my pop of light. The sun showed up for Marian and Juliano!
I always look forward to meeting my couples at their engagement sessions. It’s so nice to get to know everyone before the wedding day. Imagine having a complete stranger walk in while you’re preparing for your big day… how uncomfortable, right? That’s 100% why I push these sessions! I want to be friends!
Meeting Marian & Juliano and hearing their story was wonderful! They’ve been together for quite a long time and they’re so excited to get married in the Spring. They’ll be tying the knot at The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk next April, and I’m so excited to be there with them to celebrate!
