As you may know, Amber is my sister in-law. I had the honor of photographing her Cape Charles wedding this past weekend. We’re all so excited for her and Mike to start their marriage!
A little history of Amber and I. I met Amber a few times before Caleb and I dated, but she was older and too cool to be friends with me. I was just a little girl who was friends with her brother, no big deal. I even babysat my nephew once when he was a newborn before he was anything close to my nephew! Amber and I became fast friends once my relationship with Caleb started getting serious, and now she is even a part of my business! If you were a 2019 bride, you likely met her at your wedding.
Now with Mike, they met at church. What a great place to meet your future spouse! I’m telling you, if I hadn’t met Caleb in school I would’ve hoped to meet him at Church! He’s become a part of the family in the last two years, and we’re so excited to have it be official! He’s so handy, and very kind. Just what we all know Amber needs!
They celebrated their Cape Charles wedding on the beach, and had a reception at a rental house close by. Amber had a vision that turned a big empty backyard into a beautiful reception space. I was completely in awe of what she and Mike made happen back there. It was stunning! You’ll have to see for yourself.
