Clair and Britt’s Saude Creek Vineyard Engagement Session
I looked forward to this Saude Creek Vineyard Engagement session for weeks! I know what you’re thinking and no, it’s not just because a glass or two of wine was involved. Honest to goodness I was truly excited to meet Clair & Britt. And they did not disappoint! We had so much fun during the session that we stayed a while longer and had a glass of wine together before going our separate ways.
I asked Clair a few questions before their session about how they’d come to this point, here is our little Q&A:
How did you meet? We met through mutual friends at a New Year’s Eve party.
How did Britt propose? He took me to Williamsburg to my favorite sandwich shop for lunch, took me around the square, and then found a private spot under a beautiful oak to get down on one knee. Turns out he wasn’t the only one who thought of that plan and a guy dropped to a knee moments before he did!
Ya’ll know I’m a sucker for a good proposal story. This was the first time I’d heard of two proposals back to back in the same location by strangers!! Ah! How sweet, right?? I can only imagine how funny that was in the moment. And now they’re less than a year out from their big day. I can’t wait to celebrate with them in the Fall of 2022!
I can’t wait for their wedding at The Independence next year!
