Marley and Josh’s East Beach Engagement
I love sessions where I show up and within minutes feel like I’m hanging out with old friends. I felt just that way at Marley & Josh’s East Beach engagement session. We hit it off so quick, I didn’t even hold back with my dad jokes like I normally do.
Marley and Josh met at the US Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island when they were both assigned as interns on the same ship. They explained to me that there are only 2 interns on each ship, so the fact that they fell in love seemed to be a fairytale kind of situation. They have so much in common, and their hearts are filled with so much love… that was so evident at this session.
We started in the East Beach neighborhood and worked our way out to the beach at sunset. Talk about beautiful sunsets! We were so lucky with the dreamiest colors during golden hour. you’ll see at the end, it was just magical! The light at East Beach is always so good to me though, so it wasn’t a surprise.
